Common Chicago situations
Chicago has logistics no franchise template prepares for. Our crews work them all the time — tell dispatch which one applies and we plan the truck position before we roll out.
High-rises
Streeterville, River North, Mag Mile, South Loop, West Loop. We coordinate freight elevator reservations, dock windows, and resident-services time slots before the truck leaves the yard. COI sent direct to property management.
See cleanout scope →Alley pickups
Most Chicago two-flats and three-flats use the alley for pickup — we work them every day. Tell us if access is tight, if it's a garbage-day morning, or if there's construction blocking the alley. We position the truck where it actually fits, not where the GPS says.
See outdoor scope →Walk-ups
Third-floor Lakeview walk-ups, basement units in Logan Square, finished basements with awkward turns in Bridgeport — we plan the path, pad the doorways, and carry every item out. Tight turn? Send a photo when you book.
See in-home scope →Listing prep & turnovers
Quick-turn cleanouts for agents prepping a listing, landlords resetting after a move-out, and asset managers handling foreclosures. One quote, one invoice, multiple addresses if needed. COI direct to your brokerage or property-management office.

Volume-based: you pay for what your items fill on the truck, not where you live in the city. Zero zone surcharges, zero fuel fees, zero "downtown premium." Pre-build your total in the load calculator before you call.
Please note: Mattresses and box springs are not included in truckload pricing. A $50 surcharge applies per item in addition to your quoted load price.
Single-item pickups start at $120. Heavy materials (concrete, brick, soil, tile) priced by weight. See the full pricing chart →
Excerpts from our public Google profile.
Second time we called Orange Crew. Vicky asked the right questions so there were no surprises, the crew arrived on time and texted ahead, and even with cold wet weather they took care moving heavy items up stairs and around corners. Great service, fair price.
Came out to give us a quote and provided a very good price to remove a lot of construction and office trash. Came back with a few trucks and a crew, took it all in no time, sent the invoice over email. No drama, very professional.
The crew kept me informed of their arrival and showed up early in the window. They loaded the items I wanted to keep into a U-Haul and hauled the rest off — courteous and efficient service.

Common questions
Coverage, downtown surcharges, high-rise buildings, alley pickups, parking permits, winter access, and property-manager workflows.
Yes — we cover all 77 official Chicago neighborhoods plus close-in suburbs like Evanston, Skokie, Oak Park, Berwyn, and Cicero. The fastest way to confirm a window is to text your address to (224) 386-4836 — we reply with a yes/no and a price range inside an hour.
Yes. We carry COI on file with most major Chicago property management companies and coordinate freight elevator reservations, dock windows, and resident-services time slots before we dispatch. Tell us the building name when you book and we will line up paperwork ahead of arrival.
No. Our truck-load pricing is identical city-wide — no zone surcharges, no fuel fees, no downtown premium. The same five tiers ($150 to $650) apply whether you are in West Loop, Hyde Park, or Edison Park. Single items still start at $120. See the full pricing chart.
Yes — most of our routes are alley-friendly and we work them every day. Tell us if access is tight, if it is a garbage-day morning, or if there are parked vehicles or construction blocking the alley so we can plan the truck position before we arrive.
Same-day windows are usually available when you book early enough in the day. Lakeview, Lincoln Park, West Loop, River North, and the broader North Side have the highest route density and the fastest fill rate. Outlying neighborhoods on the Far South Side or near O'Hare may be next-day depending on truck position.
Yes — COI and W-9 ready, single monthly invoices for multi-property accounts, and after-hours windows for tenant-occupied turnovers. We handle eviction cleanouts, listing prep for real-estate teams, and ongoing post-tenant turnovers across the city. See our commercial junk removal page for full scope.
For most residential pickups in Chicago, no. For loading-zone or red-zone areas on Michigan Avenue, the Mag Mile, and parts of the Loop, tell us before we dispatch and we will plan the position accordingly. We do not pull permits on the customer's behalf, but we know which spots work without one.
We work in Chicago winter every week. If you can salt the path to the truck, that helps; otherwise we bring grit and cardboard for traction. We re-confirm the day-of forecast for any cleanouts that need garage or basement access during heavy snow weeks.
