Volume-based: you pay for the percentage of the truck your items fill, not the hours we spend lifting. The price you agree to before we lift is the price you pay.

Do I need to be home when you arrive?

Not always. Many pickups are completed unattended — leave the items in the driveway, garage, or a clearly marked spot, and we'll photograph the load before and after, text you the on-site quote for approval, and email you a receipt. For interior jobs we do need someone with access at the property. Compare booking paths on the Orange Crew homepage snapshot or send dispatch a note if legal needs a paper trail.

How fast can you get here?

Same-day windows are available when our routing allows. Booked early in the day, most jobs slot in the same afternoon. Otherwise, next-day is the standard. Tight schedule? Text us at (224) 386-4836 — the dispatcher can often shuffle a route to fit you in.

What if my pile turns out bigger than I thought?

No problem and no drama. We requote in writing on site based on the new volume, you approve the new tier, and we keep working. The original quote isn't a trap — you only pay for what we actually load.

Do you disconnect appliances?

Yes — washers, dryers, dishwashers, fridges, freezers, AC units, water heaters. We cap loose water lines, manage the Freon-recovery process for refrigerant appliances, and protect floors with blankets when we extract them. Refrigerant handling follows EPA Section 608 guidance and ENERGY STAR appliances documentation when units still qualify for recycling streams.

Can you carry items down stairs and out of basements?

Yes. Stairs, basements, attics, walk-ups, narrow hallways, tight corners — that's our problem to solve, not yours. The crew brings dollies, straps, blankets, and the muscle. There is no extra fee for stairs.

What if I cancel or reschedule?

Free up until the day before your window. On the day of, we ask for as much heads-up as you can give so we can shift the route. Free quotes are always free — there is no commitment until you approve the on-site price.

Do you provide receipts for donations or recycling?

Yes — donation receipts and recycling certificates are available on request for tax filings, audits, or compliance reporting. Just ask the crew when they arrive or email us afterwards.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, ACH, business checks, and cash. Payment is collected after the job is done, never before. We email a receipt the same day.
